After years of absence, Mizar, the historic Italian lighting brand, makes its grand return to Euroluce, the prestigious biennial of the Salone del Mobile dedicated to the sector.This return marks not only the rebirth of the brand, but also the beginning of a new era for high-end outdoor lighting, thanks to the strategic vision and technological innovation broughtby ReeR Spa, the Turin-based company that acquired Mizar after its bankruptcy and relaunched its production with a completely renewed focus.<\/p>\n\n

A NEW POSITIONING: LUXURY OUTDOOR LIGHTING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Mizar’s new direction is characterized by a specialization in outdoor lighting, with solutions designed for the high-end residential segment and for exclusive environments such as gardens, swimming pools, and fountains in luxury hotels.While remaining faithful to its architectural soul, the brand offers products that are also suitable for public spaces and landscapes, combining aesthetics and advanced technical performance.<\/p>\n\n

MODULARITY AND CUSTOMIZATION: THE VALUE OF IN-HOUSE PRODUCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

One of the distinctive elements of the new Mizar is its modularity, made possible by the integration of the company’s historical know-how and ReeR’s production capacity, which allows for a very high level of product customization. The tailor-made approach translates into the possibility of configuring solutions tailored to each project, adapting technical and aesthetic characteristics to the specific needs of architects and designers. A key innovation is represented by the 24 new special anodizations, which will be presented at Euroluce. Derived from the automotive sector, these transform machined aluminum into materials with a completely different appearance, expanding the aesthetic possibilities for outdoor lighting. Furthermore, Mizar introduces a technopolymer capable of replicating the grain of wood, a perfect solution for integrating light sources into specific contexts, such as the lighting of yacht and ship decks, without compromising weather resistance.<\/p>\n\n

<\/be>INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY: A NEW PRODUCTION PARADIGM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Attention to innovation goes hand in hand with a strong sensitivity to sustainability. The modular design of Mizar products and the use of recyclable materials reduce environmental impact and ensure greater durability. Unlike many competing solutions, Mizar underwater products, despite being IP68 certified, do not use resins to “submerge” the components, thus allowing for assembly that can be disassembled, repaired, and upgraded over time. This choice translates into advantages in terms of both sustainability and maintenance, ensuring a prolonged useful life and a reduction in waste.<\/p>\n\n

INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION AND NEW CHALLENGES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Mizar’s relaunch also involves a strong push into international markets.The company has already consolidated its presence with three participations at the Light+ IntelligentBuilding fair in Dubai, building a distribution network to cover the entire Middle East. In 2024, it took part in Light+ Building in Frankfurt, the most prestigious global event for technical lighting, and participated in several editions of Architect@Work throughout Europe. In 2025, it will be present atLIGHT25 in London, while in recent months it has closed important distribution agreementsin Europe and South America.<\/p>\n\n
