Light and Architecture over the river: Restaurant Terrasse Schwellenmätteli, Bern

A lighting project where architecture and landscape meet, suspended above the river.

For this project, Mizar supplied lighting fixtures dedicated to specific applications, selected for their high quality standards and performance tailored to the demands of the context.

To enhance the cantilevered structure and its strong relationship with the water, the Lineo 2.0 RGBW system was selected.
This linear lighting solution combines scenographic impact with outstanding technical performance. Its dual PMMA extrusion and high protection rating IP66/67, together with a CX corrosion resistance class, make it particularly suitable for outdoor applications exposed to harsh weather conditions and proximity to water.

The dining area lighting was entrusted to Quantum, one of Mizar’s evergreen luminaires.
Featuring IP65 protection and C5 corrosion resistance, Quantum delivers visual comfort, long-term durability and reliable Made in Italy quality, making it ideal for outdoor hospitality environments.

A project where lighting enhances space and identity through a solution designed to perform over time.
